Kick-off Event Schedule – Friday, November 14, 2014

Location: Farrell Hall (Bern Beatty Colloquium), Wake Forest University (Winston-Salem, North Carolina)
Time: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (in conjunction with Fridays at Farrell for Wake Forest University School of Business Alumni)

Saturday November 15, 2014

Morning (4th Floor, Deacon Tower, BB&T Field)

7:30 a.m. – Breakfast for Judges and Teams

8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. – First Round – Two-minute pitches (each team presents twice)

Each team will present a 2 minute pitch to 4-5 judges, followed by a 3 minute Q&A period. Each team will pitch twice. Judges will convene after all pitches have been delivered and vote on the top 3-4 teams to present in the finals. Teams will not have access to AV equipment during the 2 minute pitch but may provide any number of visuals including prototypes, print materials and presentations on tablet computers.

11:30 a.m. – Lunch for Competitors and Judges

12:00 p.m. – Announcement of Finalists

Afternoon (Farrell Hall)

1:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. – Final Round – 30-minute presentations

3-4 teams will have 20 minutes to present their concept in full with a 10 minute Q&A period. Teams may provide any visual they deem necessary to sell their vision. It is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED that all teams have a PPT deck ready for the final pitch.
