Friday night’s kick-off to the 2014 Retail and Health Innovation Challenge was a huge success!
Amid the backdrop of picturesque Farrell Hall, teams, judges, WFU alumni, stakeholders, and spectators enjoyed a business networking session followed by remarks from Charles Iacovou, Dean of the WFU Schools of Business, Roger Beam, Professor of Practice and Executive Director of the WFU Center for Retail Innovation, and Deepak Masand, VP of Retail Marketing and Consumer Insights for CVS Health.
In conjunction with the RHIC 2014 opening, the WFU Schools of Business was delighted to “cut the ribbon” for the school’s new RockTenn – Lowes Foods Retail Learning Lab, which will provide innovative, real-time and real-world in-store insights into consumer shopping behavior. Michael Moore, Chief Marketing Officer for Lowes Foods, provided remarks regarding this monumental joint initiative.
